Read MoreOn this particular night, I had to go somewhere, but when I tried to drive my car out of the backyard, it just didn't work. The snow was too deep, and it was very squishy. I took that as a sign, stayed home and went out with my camera. The sky was amazing, even for a wintery night like this and it all came up very well. My photo "Frozen Dream", in a stiff competition from over 8600 submitted photos, of about 600 authors from 27 countries around the world, won the first place in the 'Landscape' category on Rovinj Photodays Competition. It was a beautiful summer day. The seaside in Montenegro is fantastic and surrounded by mountains, so it was challenging to find a perfect spot to shot. Space from the sea up to the road is narrow, and most od the land is private property. It took us more than an hour to find this one, and it was behind some house in construction. Road down to the house is made from tiny rocks by construct workers. From this place, I could catch the island on our right and spectacular sunset in front, which was completed with these marvelous clouds. The reflection from blue water of the sea and sunbeams of the sun which was setting behind mountain ranges was a real hit. When you want to connect amazing view with all the beauty that nature gives us, this is what you get! Having emphasized the sky, I tried to blend its gorgeous colors with amazing sea bay! I think that result is amazing, and you?
I want to inspire those who may not find the beauty in a flash of lightning or rain cloud above the rough sea to look for her, because I think that it is lost for all of them, because many beauties surround them, and they are not aware. With my photos, I have managed to wake up the love in people for the places where they live, small settlements which they thought they were not something special and it feels unimaginable. One of the cases are these photos of lightning that I took in the village near mine. The whole village was affected by a strong storm, but at that time I had a tripod that is only 100 cm tall, and the biggest problem was to find a place from where I could fully capture thunder. Distancing more and more, I found a place in the middle of the field that was flooded by water, and the ground that blended with water did not go in favor. I walked ten centimeters deep in mud, and after twenty minutes in the rain, I found a convenient place. The height of the tripod was a problem again, and the storm was getting stronger. The legs of tripod were crumbling down, so I had to take off my jacket, lay it on the ground and then set it. I needed it tranquil due to prolonged exposure at least sixty seconds while the thunder with rain and blustery wind were raging over me. The difficulties appeared one after another, but after 3h in the field and countless photos, the sky was finally calm. It took half a day to clean the equipment but all effort paid off.
I was amazed with all beautiful places I saw last summer in Montenegro. I wanted to transfer to photos the amazing sunset behind mountains in Bay of Kotor, so I waited above the city for the right moment, and I created this one. It was very hot but satisfying. If you haven't visited Montenegro yet, it is time for sure. You don't know what you are missing!
Photography is like everything else; all depend from person to person. For me, it does not matter whether someone like my work or not, important is that person with one look at the photo, understands the story behind it, a process that is passed to develop. Therefore, I do not just view the photo that somebody else made, I try to make mine that will represent the incredible, unforgettable place and the way that I experienced it. The photo is itself only the last prize that comes.

On a rafting through a grand river in Montenegro, we came across this waterfall and decided to take a break there. I didn't have all of my equipment, but I tried to do my best with all that I had. With the DIY tripod, I managed to take the long exposure of it and to be on time to move on. The best part was bathing in this natural basin! It was awesome!!
Project 'Magical City: Banja Luka'' No. 1
My job as a photographer gave me a lot of new opportunities, and I took that as an advantage to make some of my projects. One of them is named ‘Magical City ’ and through it, I tried to show my love towards the city where I live. I photographed the entire city and all the places that characterize it. I was the first man that did this kind of photos of Banja Luka City. It took a year to finish the project, most of the photos were taken at night because I wanted to display the soul of the city, but not when there are people in the streets because that just represents the spirit of citizens. I focused on city only, wanted for people to see old buildings, famous monuments that stand for years in the same location and by which most of us pass every day, without paying attention. In Balkan were I live, there are all kinds of nations, and I wanted to emphasize the beauty in which we live today, to show others that war is over, that we surpassed our differences and that we live together in peace, respecting each other. Banjaluka is the cultural city, where people enthusiastically welcome everyone regardless where they come from and who they are.

Close your eyes and imagine paradise. What is the first thing that comes to your mind? The sun and endless beauty surrounding the island at the very bottom of Croatia is what comes to mine. The Lošinj archipelago is a destination of health and vitality, surrounded by incredible sandy beaches and a pleasant Mediterranean climate, in the heart of which is a town with a tradition and culture old for centuries. Breathless buildings, top-notch culinary arts which magical taste of seafood represent the paradise for the eyes and palate are among many reasons why this island is for me one of the most beautiful places I visited so far. I experienced my summer story on Lošinj, and I am looking forward to all those that are waiting for me. I can safely say that no one leaves this place the same. Sitting two hours, watching this stunning view and making the time lapse of a sunset was so much fun! The best thing was the point in processing the shots when I realized that I could blend them and make this! I think that the result of combining three photos which were taken from the same spot in different time ranges into this one is fantastic, and you? Flying with a drone above Losinj island in Croatia was the most stunning experience that I had during my time there! This panorama was made out of ten individual shots of Aqua Park in the Cikat Camp. The interesting thing about it is that underneath this forest rest over five thousand campers. Fascinating, don't you think? It is so mysterious from the air, and there is little city formed out of people who share the same love towards connecting with nature. The whole island is beautiful on the ground, but I think that I don't need to say to you how wonderful it is from the air. See for yourself!
